This was a tough game for the U16's who struggled to find the right gear and were unable to kill the game off until the last quarter. Tigers had a good start to the game going up 18 – 9 early on, but poor man to man defence allowed Bath back into the game.
With Bath playing a zone defence the entire game, it took Tigers time to adapt. So with the team having difficulties at both ends Coaches Carter and Scarborough decided to match Bath and play a zone defence. This was the turning point with the Tigers converting steals into lay ups. This turnaround was led by Captain Sean Clifford, whose experience on court held the team together well and with the speed of Joe Randall the Tigers were able to blow Bath away in the final quarter.
The biggest positive to take away from the game was the way the whole team battled hard, stayed focused and were able to come away with the win.
