This was top of the league playing against bottom of the league with Tigers travelling away to play against Reading Rockets second team which is made up of U15 players. The Tigers team only travelled with 10 players, with 4 players injured or ill, this allowed an excellent opportunity for players to gain more minutes and stake more of a claim in the team.
The game never took off as far as the Tigers were concerned with the younger Rockets more up for the fight. The team put in a below average performance with mistakes and missed shots higher than normal. The team only showed glimpses in the 3rd quarter of why they will be a threat come the play-offs going on small scoring runs and increasing the defensive intensity.
Tigers remain undefeated at the top with a 11 – 0 record, but with a tough game in two weeks time at home to Tamar intensity in training with have to be increased.
