Tigers U16s had a comfortable win against Dorset Storm on Saturday. The most important thing was the way the Tigers team started to find some form and consistency for the majority of the game. After last week's game was cancelled the Tigers team have been training hard to iron out problems and the game was an excellent opportunity to find form again.
The Tigers defence, communication and positioning was greatly improved. The Tigers dominated the rebounding at both ends with George Williams showing how much the team missed him when he was injured. All players scored in the game with Scott Speed leading the scoring with 29 points.
Coach Carter was happy with the contributions of Jack Murphy and Ricky Richards who impressed at both ends of the court. The team will be further tested against a physical Plymouth Raiders on Saturday 17th and still have to play Abingdon and Guildford fixtures which could prove difficult.
