The game never really took off from Tigers point of view and the winning score should have been much wider than 31 points. The team got off to a flying start going straight into a 16 point lead within the first 6 minutes but instead of killing the game off the team allowed Bath back into the game.
Tigers ball movement against Bath's zone was good but the lack of finishing close to the hoop meant that the game still was not affectively over at half time. Half time score was 38 – 23 to the Tigers.
A strong half time talk from Coaches Carter and Carter proved effective with the Tiger defence upping its intensity level and outside shooting improving.
The game allowed all players to be rotated regularly and gain more valuable court time, but the team has to keep on improving in many areas and cannot be content with this type of performance.
Tigers remain top in the league with a 10 – 0 record so far.
